Adults of all ages gather for fun and fellowship with neighbors and friends to do a variety of activities.
Certified exercise physiologist Mary Newell will lead us in gentle chair exercises and breathing techniques, as well as fall prevention tips and exercises. Participants will receive a handout with simple take home exercises. Chair exercise is a gentle form that can be done sitting on a chair or standing on the ground while using the chair for support. Benefits include improved flexibility and better concentration.
Space is limited: register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins. Accessibility needs? Please contact ask@acpl.info as soon as possible - we’d love to help.
